CLICK! A Photographic Journey Through Old Harrison
Drawing upon the Society's impressive photographic collection, this new exhibition takes visitors on a journey through Old Harrison Township from the 19th century to the present day.  See how the landscape has evolved and discover hidden corners and lost landmarks.  Images also provide glimpses into everyday life here in the 19th and 20th centuries.  When established in 1844, Harrison included present-day Harrison, South Harrison and the western edge of Elk.  Some pundits today suggest that residents of New Jersey's small municipalities would save money through mergers.  A component of the exhibition invites visitors to express their opinion about whether or not they would support returning to the old boundaries.
